It is a massive country with impressive contrasts. In the north there are the surreal Andean mountains in the Valles Calchaquies. In the east is the steamy tropical jungles and the spectacular Iguazu waterfalls. In the west is the lake district and the wine growing region of Mendoza. In the south you can see whales, seals and penguins at the Valdes Peninsula. And if you travel to the bottom of the world you can visit the awesome Moreno Glacier and make it to the southern most city in the world, Ushuaia, the last point before Antartica. Whether you want to visit ancient ruins, see waterfalls, learn Spanish, go horseback trekking, see colonial architecture, or go clubbing Argentina has what you are looking for.
